Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is famous for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the diva. Alexandra has been involved in numerous significant international and national productions throughout her career. Among others, these projects comprise British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. In addition, she has been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in The Cannes Film Festival.
