Michael Keaton, an American actor and director best well-known for Birdman. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents who is able to play comedic as well as dramatic roles. He has also portrayed several romantic characters and was in a variety of action-packed films during his professional career. His interest in the performing arts started when he was in his teen years. He attempted stand-up comedy in his early 20s. While his stand-up comedy venture did not succeed however, it served as the basis for his future acting career. Unable to find success in the field of comedy, he picked on a position as a television cameraman in a cable channel. The job at the station is where he realized it was his dream to be on camera. After that, he was offered a TV performance, and was in several seasons in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His talent as an actor helped him become a household name on the world of television. After establishing a successful movie career, his funny appearances brought him plenty of attention. In Tim Burton's Batman in the film, he portrayed the superhero of the same name. Being a mature actor the actor also began to explore into producing and directing. The role he played in Birdman in 2014's Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and prizes.
